New Zealand Urban Design Awards 2012
A new awards program has recently been announced in New Zealand to assist in the promotion of high quality urban design & place-making in towns and cities alike.
The NZ Urban Design Awards 2012 program comprises two main categories: Built Projects, which includes urban design-based projects constructed since 2000; and Envisaging Projects, comprising urban design-based projects that prepare planning frameworks for new urban developments or for the redevelopment of existing areas.

The award program is supported by: New Zealand Institute of Architects, New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects, Property Council New Zealand, New Zealand Planning Institute and New Zealand Urban Design Forum.
Entries are open now until Friday 14 September, 2012. Winners to be announced on 8 November 2012. More information about the award program, including how to enter, can be found here.
